CASE STUDY

PROFILE

KERB are a membership organisation dedicated to the incubation and acceleration of London’s most innovative street food businesses. Through improving the quality of food served on the capital’s streets and legitimising the industry through professionalising its practices, they have been at the helm of the London street food scene since launching in 2012 at King’s Cross.

BRANDING JOURNEY

Our collaboration with KERB started at the inception of their newly acquired, 24,000 square foot, food court in Seven Dials Market near Covent Garden. We were invited to fully brand the reinvented warehouse, consulting on materials, production and installation techniques to serve a number of purposes throughout the multi-functional space.

HOW WE MADE IT HAPPEN

An initial task of producing and installing vinyl graphics, hanging banners and wall coverings quickly grew. Development of the bar area called for illuminated hanging signage that could be easily updated and installed, our silicone edged, fabric solution was perfect for this. We also collaborated with the KERB team to produce custom made menu blocks with interchangeable magnetic inserts. This now allows the venue to advertise seasonal promotions and events as well as updates to existing food and drink offerings. As they have grown and expanded into other venues such as The National Theatre and Corner Corner, we've continued to support them in production and installation of graphics across their new sites. Getting to really know the brand we've been able to act as an extension of their teams, informing our decisions and helping us to put forward the ideas we know will really hit the spot. Implementing each brands' vision for the space then comes from collaborating with the client directly. Taking their requirements on board and advising the best way in which to achieve the desired outcome. Each event presents a new set of challenges for us to consider the best approach, this continued review and refinement of the process has earned us the position of being Magazine preferred brand implementation partner.
